Letter from John Richards concerning the Highlands Subdivision Homeowners Association

The special meeting of the Highlands Subdivision Homeowners Association
will take place on Wednesday, July 12th from 6:30-8:00pm.

The Highlands community is located in Monroe County, Indiana immediately southwest of the Bloomington city jurisdiction. There are currently 438 homes in the development ranging in size from 1600 sq. ft. to over 3000 sq. ft., with 5 open lots still available.

Adjacent to the development is the Clear Creek Trail, managed by the City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department.

The neighborhood may be accessed from the west via Rockport Road and from the southeast via Gordon Pike. The Highlands is within the Monroe County Community School Corporation with students attending Summit Elementary, Batchelor Middle School, and Bloomington South High School.The association is presided over by a five-member Board of Directors composed of residential property owners. All homeowners automatically become a member of the Highlands Homeowners Subdivision Association upon purchasing their property. HOA dues are billed annually.

The purpose of this site is to provide information about our neighborhood and the workings of the association. We are proud of our neighborhood and our homes. It is the associations purpose to maintain and improve, so that we can continue to enjoy our neighborhood and protect the value of our investments.
